The event takes place in the historic Resursa in Żyrardów, whose richly decorated ballroom — closer to a palace interior than a typical assembly hall — creates an exceptionally elegant setting. On-site accommodation is available, and we encourage you to join us for the entire weekend to fully experience the atmosphere of the era.

The Saturday ball is the heart of the whole weekend — not just an evening of fun, but a structured programme of dances, breaks, and moments to rest. You don't need to know all the dances in advance: some of them will be led, and the atmosphere of the event makes it easy to ease into the rhythm of the evening.

A guided walk through one of Europe's best-preserved 19th-century industrial towns. We'll see the red-brick workers' settlement, the neo-Gothic parish church of Our Lady of Consolation, the old market square, and the elegant directors' villas — including the distinctive Haupt villa.
The highlight is the Museum of Linen, named after Philippe de Girard, set in the historic halls of the former factory, where original textile machinery can still be seen today.
Dress code and general style
Our aim is to recreate together the atmosphere of an early 20th-century ball, and appropriate attire is an important part of this unique experience.
We ask guests to choose ball attire inspired by the Art Nouveau era.
For ladies, silhouettes from 1910–1915 are especially recommended for greater comfort while dancing, though earlier styles from around 1890–1910 are equally welcome.
Please kindly send a photo of your planned outfit no later than three weeks before the ball.

The ball takes place in the beautiful ballroom of the Resursa in Żyrardów, one of the best-preserved historic factory towns in Europe, built around linen mills at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
